MISSION
The mission of the Timber Point Golf School is to teach and help golfers of all ages, genders and abilities reach their golfing goals. Working closely with our professional staff using golfs latest technologies everyone is able to set goals, reach them and make the golf season much more enjoyable.

 
COURSE FACILITY 
The Timber Point Golf School offers 35 hitting areas, a pitching and bunker area for your short game and a large practice putting green. Additionally, Timber Point offers 27 championship golf holes with multiple teeing areas for all abilities. The facility also provides a fully stocked pro-shop and restaurant and catering facilities to accommodate all needs.

Don Jarvis joins the Timber Point Teaching staff from his most recent positions at Nassau Country Club and Glen Cove GC. His teaching programs are based on a number of fundamentals founded and identifiable in the swing of all great ball strikers. He has extensive knowledge and experience teaching the short game as well. He conveys his concepts with an easy to learn from manner so you can improve your scores and develop greater pleasure from the game. He has had extraordinary results working with recreational golfers and club tournament players of all age, gender and skill levels.

Don also boasts an impressive playing resume. As a youth while working on Pine Hollow CC he was a two time Nassau County High School Champion and twice a contestant in the USGA Juniors. Upon turning Professional he was a two time winner of the MET PGA Assistant Tour. In 2003 because of his accomplishments over the years he was granted a sponsor’s exemption to the Champions Tour Commerce Bank Classic held here on Long Island. Most recently he had a runner up finish in the 2008 Long Island Senior Open along with a runner up finish in 2009 at the Good Will Pro-Am on the beautiful Island of Bermuda.
